Introduction to ArcPad 7 with Trimble GPScorrect

This two-day course provides the conceptual overview and hands-on experience that are necessary to take full advantage of ArcPad's mobile GIS and GPS functionality. Class participants will learn how to visualize, query, create, and edit GIS data in the field using GPS. The Trimble GPSCorrect extension for ArcPad will also be used to allow configuration of critical GPS receiver settings as well as post-processing of GPS data using Pathfinder Office GPS Analyst. ArcGIS tools for ArcPad will be highlighted. Processing of ArcPad data will also be covered.

Prerequisites:
Windows Mobile experience and/or familiarity with your own Windows Mobile device are required. Students must also have Windows experience, including copy/paste, moving files, and familiarity with Windows terminology, such as tool
bar, menu bar, radio button, scroll bar, etc.
