Mapping & GIS Certified Trainingâ€"Basic/Intermediate TerraSync

This course consists of a combination of classroom and fieldwork designed to give you confidence in all steps of a GPS data collection or update project, including mission planning, data collection, data transfer, differential correction, editing and error checking and export to GIS. Training will revolve around GPS Pathfinder Office software and Trimble TerraSync field software. Any Trimble GPS Mapping receiver or data collector may be used for the class as long as TerraSync is the field software. This includes the Recon GPS Card Edition, the ProXT or ProXH, the GeoXM or GeoXT, or older Pathfinder systems including the ProXL, ProXR/XRS, Power, or Pocket.

Prerequisites:
Windows CE experience and/or familiarity with your own Windows Mobile device are required for students using TerraSync. Students must also have Windows experience, including copy/paste, moving files, and familiarity with Windows terminology, such as tool bar, menu bar, radio button, scroll bar, etc.
